I want to be your Advocate
Don't forget to Vote Karen Ellison for Wildomar City Council - District 4!
I believe that municipal government should be advocates for the residents they represent. It’s my personal goal to serve as the advocate for all the residents of Wildomar's District 4 - which means I will listen to all concerns and help to resolve any issue, by introducing residents to key stakeholders, scheduling meetings, hosting meetings and even brainstorming solutions to the issue. I want to represent District 4 with the support that is needed to make our city accountable to the laws and policies it sets. It will also be my commitment to ensure the City of Wildomar aligns with its vision statement: The City of Wildomar will be a safe and active community, responsibly grown, with quality infrastructure while keeping a hometown feel.
As a former journalist and communications executive, I am known for researching the issues, asking and answering the tough questions, addressing concerns, and clearly articulating plans. I will be transparent, honest and direct in my communications and will have an open door to anyone who wants to discuss how we can make Wildomar a better place to live. (city council district 4 district 4 council member)
I have more than 25 years of Executive Communications experience building and executing external and internal communication strategies globally with companies such as Cisco Systems, Linksys, Belkin, Amazon, Johnson & Johnson Vision and more!
I love Wildomar and everything our community has to offer. I'm dedicated to honoring our historic rural culture by keeping the city moving forward with businesses and opportunities that will benefit the residents of Wildomar. I'm more interested in knowing what you think and what you want so I can make decisions on plans and programs that you actually want and need. { district 4 council member}
I'm a fighter and I will fight to resolve any issues you may have - from septic issues, homeless shelters going in your neighborhood to the lack of road improvements - I'm dedicated to be your city advocate.
The key issues the residents of District 4 are talking to me about are the following - however I will adjust and add as I hear from more of you:

I have completed my campaign #wildomarwalk! Since August I have been walking all the neighborhoods of District 4 listening and talking about the issues you have and what you love about Wildomar. 47.5 miles of pure enjoyment getting to know this beautiful city and the most amazing people. I have built my campaign on what you told me you wanted addressed. (Road fixtures, slower growth, horse trail maintenance and materials, more police patrol, more effective comms, an advocate that will actually listen and take your input, address the low income housing and homeless shelter going in and more focus on our historical culture). I hope I get the chance to be your advocate and get the issues our district needs addressed. Thank you everyone that talked to me and provided your input as well as the dozens of you that walked with me! It’s been a journey I will never forget! Don’t forget to vote Karen Ellison!!!

We had a blast with the neighbors of Woodmoor! Lots of Trick or Treaters, Amazing Coffee from Tina and Meraki Coffee, The dogs had a blast and just great quality time with the neighbors! I can't wait for next year!
What a great night at the Fall Family Fun Fair on Oct 19 at Marna O'Brien Park. I got to meet so many Wildomarians and got to talk about the issues and the great things about Wildomar. The support was out of this world! I even had my Dancing Dinosaurs and Dancing Monkeys out in full force!
I participated in my first Candidate Forum along with candidates from other elections taking place locally. I was so honored and excited to share my qualifications and vision for our beautiful city. I hope everyone heard my passion and dedication to being your true advocate on fixing issues that all the neighborhoods of District 4 really want. Time for Change in District 4!
Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth at the Wildomar 16th Birthday celebration. It was so wonderful talking to you all!

Thank you to everyone that came out to Meet the Candidate meetings at Stadium Pizza and Montague Brothers Coffee. We had packed houses and so many great questions and conversations. I look forward to meeting each of you on the Wildomar Walks every weekend!
One thing to know about me is that I love dogs! I have my little Charlie who will be turning 17 soon. He's been a therapy dog for children and senior citizens but is now retired. As part of my love for dogs - I would love to work with the AFV to build a communication network to help reunite lost dogs with their owners and as well as find forever homes for dogs that reside there. We all see the numerous messages on Ring, Nextdoor and Facebook asking for help in finding their lost dogs. I would like to help create a network with AFV to better facilitate communication as well as education and fundraising.
Your generous contribution will enable us to pay for resources to brand and promote our campaign.
